Julie Chen Moonves hosted the popular reality TV show in the summer of Big Brother which returned to CBS for its 22nd season on August 5. Chen Moonves had been one of The Talk's original hosts and hosts. She hosted and moderated The Talk between 2010 and 2018, when she was the host. But her real passion was when she added writing to her duties and won an Emmy for it. She won another Emmy for her role as host of an excellent entertainment talk show. The Talk is a show that examines current events through five female host. Chen Moonves co-hosted CBS News' weekday morning program The Early Show in 2002 as well as in 2010, before becoming host of the talk show. Her prior roles included anchoring CBS Morning News and The Early Show. After the attacks of 9/11, she was sent to Cairo and tracked down the lead hijacker's father for an intense and shocking interview. Chen Moonves interviewed celebrities such as Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie. Also, she spoke to ex- New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani as well as Queen Rania. Chen Moonves covered the Emmy Award-winning CBS Sunday Morning News broadcast. He also interviewed celebrities such as Jamie Lee Curtis or Paula Abdul. Before joining The Early Show he was a CBS own station journalist in New York City, WCBS. While completing her last semester at university, she worked as an assistant at ABC News in Los Angeles (1990-1991) and was the producer of ABC NewsOne (the network's affiliated news channel). As a desk-assistant to ABC News late night broadcast Nightline, she worked with Ted Koppel. He remains an inspiration to her in the field of journalism. Chen Moonves and Ted Koppel worked together on Anatomy of a Riot - an evening show on television that was awarded the Columbia du-Pont award - which focused on the Los Angeles riots of 1992.
